The product, in the report: Jogger travel system
My Granddaughter was hurt by a product. The product manufacturer is Babytrend. The name is cityscape 32 jogger travel system. The date made was 05/07/2018. lot and quality # 66940429 Serial # CS816694TJ000429 Model TJ75C07C . I bought this jogger System for my daughter as this is her first child it was her baby shower gift. It was purchased at Burlington Coat Factory. She has used the car seat since my granddaughter was born on [REDACTED] without issue. On April 9th 2019 my daughter and granddaughter and her father went to the park because the weather was great in Ohio. The baby was in the car seat that snaps into the stroller and they were walking. Definitely walking, the baby is four months old. It was a hot day she was fussy my daughter unstrapped her as they were just walking. so she is still in car seat. The stroller has three wheels one big front wheel two rear wheels. So her dad was pushing her and the front wheel went sideways then the entire unit went over. The baby hit her head on cement and suffered a fractured skull and brain bleed. So I called the store to let them know exactly what happened. I also contacted the manufacturer and spoke to a woman [REDACTED] who said were they jogging no they were walking my daughter just had a baby. Then said if they are jogging the front tire should be locked. That made absolutely no sense. Regardless they were walking. My point is I really don’t want some one else’s grand child to get injured. She was taken to Mercy Medical Center then Transferred to Akron Children’s Hospital. Spent three days in the ICU there.
