The product, in the report: This is an educational toy marketed to “12+ months” as stated on the box.
BABY TOY/ ACTION NEEDED IMMEDIATELY PLEASE ---- My 12 mo. old baby girl received “The Mushroom Garden” by Best Learning (Ages 12 months+) as a gift for her 1st birthday through Amazon.com on Sat, Oct. 6th. Within the first few minutes of her playing with it on a carpeted floor, my 12 month old daughter was able to pull 3 of the colored circular knobs completely off without force and then put them in her mouth. This is an extreme chocking hazard. I would like to add that underneath each of the knobs that she was able to pull off, looks to be an exposed light bulb that is extremely bright (appears to be a laser like light), also dangerous anyone’s eyesight, let alone a baby who is staring directly into the laser light. I attempted to contact the manufacturer but could only find an address an phone number out of Taiwan so I contacted Amazon to report the toy on 10/11/18. Amazon said they would do an investigation. Please take action to take this toy off of the market IMMEDIATELY before a baby chokes to death on this toy. My concern is that an unknowing parent might walk away from their child for a few minutes not knowing that these small circular nobs come apart so easily and come back to a child who has choked to death. I would like to add, I have kept the toy as evidence in case you need me to mail it to you.
