  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Jul 9, 2020, sent to the company Oct 14, 2020, published by CPSC Sep 30, 2020

The product, in the report: Babies View 3 Stage Activity Center Activity Center Model 303325.04 Date manufactured: 2016 Made in China

This is a stationary activity center, that is circular in shape and has toys on top for children to play with.

The consumer’s granddaughter was sitting & playing in the activity center, when the “swaying trees” stationary toy, entrapped the edge of the child’s palm. The child could not free herself, so an adult had to assist her. The incident caused child cried and scream in pain until freed. There was also a 2nd incident, where the child pinched the side of her finger in the same swaying trees toy. An adult had to free the child both times. The child was 7 months old at the time.

No medical treatment was needed for the child’s hand in either incident. However, the consumer applied an ice cube to the child’s hand for her pain.

The consumer removed the trees from the toy and barely allows the child to use the activity center anymore.

The toy is recommended for children 4 months+. The child should be able to hold their head up themselves. Don’t use with children over 25 lbs., or 30” tall. Discontinue use when the child begins to walk or can lift part of themselves out of the seat, unassisted.
