The product, in the report: infant head positioner/insert for car seat
I am a Child Passenger Safety Technician/Instructor at a hospital. I was assisting a family with the correct use of their newborn’s car seat. The family was using a head positioner/insert that did not come with the car seat. (these items are not generally recommended for use with car seats if it did not originally come with the seat)
Upon removing the insert, the snaps came off. There are 4 snaps, total 3 of them came apart upon removal. Potentially a choking hazard. IThe manufacturer is ‘Gold Bug’ and the serial number/item number is U0134/29510.
