The product, in the report: Wooden car-shaped baby teething toy with 2 beads in the center. Sensori Kids Harmony-Bell Beechwood Toy Set/ wooden rattle

I am reporting a safety concern involving a Sensori Kids Harmony-Bell Beechwood Toy Set / wooden rattle. During normal use, my baby was mouthing the toy when the blue painted on one of the beads chipped off. The paint chips got on my baby’s mouth and I am unsure as to whether any was ingested. I immediately removed the toy from my baby and contacted Poison Control. Poison Control advised that they were not concerned about the immediate exposure, but I am reporting the product because the surface coating is chipping off a toy intended for babies/young children during normal use and can therefore be ingested. I do not know what the paint/coating contains or whether it has been tested for lead, other heavy metals, or other substances required for children’s toys. I have taken the toy away from my child and have photographs showing the product and the area where the coating chipped. I am requesting that CPSC review this product for compliance with applicable children’s toy safety requirements and determine whether other consumers should be warned about this issue.

The product was marketed as the Sensori Kids Harmony-Bell Beechwood Toy Set / Wooden Rattle.
