The product, in the report: Product Name: Wooden Baby Playpen with Toy, Foldable Play Yard for Toddlers Brand Name: Ulnxiy Shipper/Seller: Ulnxiy USA Country of Origin: China Primary Materials: Wood, plastic connectors, small toys ,plastic Retailer: Amazon ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number): B0DHZ41STD Size and Dimensions: Assembled Size: 84 inches long , 56 inches wide , 24 inches high Product Weight: Around 30 lbs The play yard has several serious safety defects that violate mandatory standards. 1.Entrapment & Strangulation Hazard: The mesh sides have openings large enough for a child’s finger or clothing snap to get caught, posing a risk of finger entrapment or twisting. The design allows the sides to form a V-shape when only partially set up, which could trap a child’s head and neck. 2.Fall & Collapse Hazard: The locking mechanisms on the top rails fail to stay securely locked during normal use. With slight pressure, the sides can unexpectedly collapse. The floor is also poorly secured and can flip up, creating a gap where a child could become trapped or crawl out. The side height is too low, allowing a child to easily climb out and fall. 3.Choking & Laceration Hazards: Small components, such as zipper pulls and plastic caps, easily detach during use, posing a choking risk for infants. Accessible metal and plastic edges are sharp and could cause cuts. 4.Missing Required Warnings: The product lacks mandatory tracking labels and safety warnings required by 16 CFR Part 1221. There are no markings showing the manufacture date or batch code, making an effective recall impossible.
