My 14th month old baby was in the play yard in my house when the fabric connecting the play yard frame to walls ripped in two, causing the structure to fall apart. Fortunately, the baby was not harmed. I immediately removed him from the play yard and discontinued use. I contacted Regalo’s customer service department the next day and sent them photos. After emailing back and forth, they agreed to replace the mesh portion but not the entire faulty structure, even though they told me to discontinue using it or injury/death could occur. They claim that because we used it for six months, they have no responsibility to address the issues with the defective product since it only has a 90 day warranty. I am more concerned about the safety issue and the fact that this could happen to other children.

The product, in the report: Play yard Date manufactured: Nov. 2018
Around August 7th, 2019 this caller had taken his 10 month old baby out of the play yard to close it up.but the unit collapsed and broke in a few different places. Round play yard with poles around it criss crossing seemed to be very sturdy which is why the caller and his wife were totally shocked when it collapsed in the manner it did. The caller contacted manufacturer who wouldn’t consider replacement due to warranty, which is bogus because the product was new & defective & unsafe No injuries being reported
