The product, in the report: portable playpen
The consumer saw that Health Canada, recalled the product in Canada. (see link below).
[REDACTED]
However, she said that the identical product is also sold in the U.S.
6/22/2022: The consumer sent the firm an email asking if they would take the product back. They have not responded as of yet.
However, the consumer said that she knows other people who contacted the manufacturer and asked for a refund. The consumer claims that the manufacturer told those people they could donate the product or destroy it and show proof of either.
The consumer believes that the product may present the same exact hazards as the ones that were recalled in Canada.
The company suggested I donate I refused
The company refunded me for the structure, not the mat or sheets

The product, in the report: The California Beach Co POP N’ GO. color orange. THE WORLD’S BEST PORTABLE PLAYPEN THE MOST DURABLE, COMPACT, LIGHTWEIGHT, AND PORTABLE PLAYPEN ON THE MARKET.. THE MOST DURABLE, COMPACT, LIGHTWEIGHT, AND PORTABLE POP-UP PLAY YARD EVER CREATED FOR BABIES, TODDLERS, SMALL CHILDREN, AND PETS TOO! POP N’ GO®
The California Beach Co POP N’ GO I had a bad experience with mine. I had it for less than a month. I bought it for my 9 month old as she is learning to walk. Everyday I set it up when shes ready to be active then fold it down. As I was normally folding it up the frame bent on 2 of the posts. I grabbed the post and tried to straighten it but immediately let go because i had many clear almost invisible tiny fiberglass fibers stuck in my hands. I had to [REDACTED] how to remove them as they are not your average splinters. I emailed the company with pictures and told them their product was unsafe. what if my baby put her hands on the frame or her mouth. it would be worse than steel wool getting in her system. i am still waiting to hear back from upper management. i really hope its an issue with manufacturing in a batch and not a product defect
