The consumer says that the bassinet zips on the sides of the [playpen]. Two poles are positioned on the bassinet parallel to the way the [playpen] sits up.

Their are no cross bars and her son rolled over, lifting the mat and was wedged into the corner. There was no way to roll back because the way it lifted up. She says the bassinet lifted on the left side about 6-8” while he was on the right side of the bassinet.

The product, in the report: Evenflo Babysuite Play yard in Circus Print.

My baby got trapped on more than one occasion between the mattress and the bottom of the playpen. At first I thought it was because the bottom is not heavy enough to put a normal playpen sheet on it. It seems to pull it up at the sides and it doesn’t fit right. I stopped using sheets and relied solely on the playpen’s design of [REDACTED] to keep the mattress down. To my dismay, this happened again today with a child that I was babysitting!! Thank GOD that I went in to check on the quiet little one to make sure she was asleep. Half of her face and body were underneath the mattress. She could have suffocated and I am so upset about this!!!! The mattress doesn’t sit tight against the sides like all other playpens that I have seen. There is quite a gap on all 4 sides, posing a suffocation hazard.
