i go to change my daughters diaper, i open a brand new package of Parents Choice diapers. I put the new diaper right on my daughter. i did not open the diaper until i was putting it directly on my daughter, she spends the next half hour whining and grabbing at her diaper saying owie. I pull on her diaper hoping maybe it was just a wedgie, it wasnt. i adjust the straps thinking maybe they are poking her. nothing changes, shes still crying and grabbing at her diaper saying owie. i finally lay her down , as soon as i open the diaper i see a shard of glass. it was sharp, it was poking her. i feel infuriated. if i had not noticed this foreign object, it could have seriously injured my baby. it could have gotten stuck in her, or it could have cut her.

The product, in the report: Parent’s Choice Explorer 360 Active Fit Diaper Pants, Size 6, 42 Count

My 2 year old daughter was wearing a Wal-Mart Parent’s Choice Explorer 360 Active Fit Diaper Pants, Size 6 today. She had the diaper on for about half an hour, and was playing in the living room and walking around the house. She started crying so I went over to her and saw bits of gel and fluff all over the floor, her legs, and belly. The gel had completely come out of the diaper and had basically exploded all over her. I took the diaper off of her and washed her off in the shower. She started crying and grabbing her privates and saying ow. After the shower I laid her down and looked at her privates and the gel was all over her vulva, and almost inside of her vagina, and her entire genital area was extremely red and irritated looking. She is no longer in distress after cleaning as much of the gel off as I could and applying petroleum jelly to the area, but she still has what looks like a very bad diaper rash on her crotch an hour later. I’m still vacuuming bits of diaper gel out of the carpet. After examining the diaper more, there was barely any urine in the diaper at all.

I am a cloth diaper mom. However, sometimes when traveling, disposables are used. This chemical burn happened from the material of the diaper on my son’s back - no potty touched this part of his skin at all. It is not a diaper rash. It is a chemical burn. It is directly related to Parents Choice diapers. It happened two weeks ago when we also used them - from the same package

After putting them on our son (18 months old or so), some time passed and he began crying. We found what seemed to be burn marks, something that did not happen with other brands of diapers. We believe the diapers caused some chemical burn on his groin/buttocks area.

Just a few days of using these pull ups and the outer lining area of the diapers has completely broke my son out burned his skin in that area he has open sores that are bleeding and raw. This is ridiculous!!!!!!!! We are putting our trust in these company’s to provide SAFE products for our children! There is no reason that I spend my money on this crap and my child is injured and burned !!!!!! Then I can’t even get my money back on several boxes that i purchased that we will NEVER use again. I will keep complaining and i want my money back. I have pictures of my sons bottom area after about 3 to 4 days of use of these [REDACTED]

I purchased Parent’s Choice diapers from Wal-Mart in Shawano, WI on January 21, 2015. When my 1 year old daughter began wearing the diapers she developed severe and painful chemical-like burns on her bottom and outer vaginal area. She did not wear the diapers wet for an extended period of time (no longer than 8 hours at night) and the burns were unlike anything ever seen with any diaper product. I have retained samples of the diapers as this is extremely concerning to me. I have never seen my daughter have ANY type of reaction to any product.

I thought the cheap brand caused irritation and would switch to a name brand and the [REDACTED] diapers made it ten times worse and they have caused a chemical burn on my daughter. I took her to the dr twice before it was confirmed as being a chemical burn. She screams when it comes to changing her diapers and i hope and pray it doesnt leave a permanent scar. The chemical burn litterally came over night i placed the [REDACTED] diaper on my child at bed time when i went to change her in the morning only 6 hours later she was really red and irritated as the day went on it got worse that is when i took her back to the pediatrician. i have photographs of the chemical burn that my child is enduring.
