The product, in the report: Babyganics ultra absorbing diapers size 1, 232 count case

Here is what I reported to babyganics: I started using a box of your size 1 diapers maybe 2 weeks ago. I noticed our 4 month old started having persistent diaper rash for the first time, and thought there may be something different about your diapers that bothered her skin, but since she is moving into 2s soon and these are the last size 1s, we continued using them. I went to change her this morning and found what appears to be mold on at least 2 diapers. I only looked through 6 or so, after I found the really bad one.

The last 3 photos are the same diaper and I took pictures of the lot number on the full pack as well as the opened half used pack where I found 2 diapers with dark spots. I’m now concerned there is mold even on those diapers without visible dark spots. We just opened this pack a week or 2 ago, and it was previously stored in my daughters closet (not in garage or basement where it could be humid). I’m in Michigan, and our house was actually very dry (plus the diapers were sealed until recently).

Lot # is 021191662C this is followed by what I assume is a time stamp of 2212

Babyganics is asking if I would like to send to them for analysis. I don’t mind doing so, but I also work for a regulatory agency and wanted to be sure you are aware of this complaint. Babyganics claims to have no similar issues. If you are interested in analysis, I’d prefer to send to you. If not, I’d be happy to send to babyganics. Just let me know. Thanks.
