The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: High speed Bottle Warmer. Uses a timer that cuts on a burner that boils water to warm up baby bottles. The timer on mine would not work (stopping at times) but the burner continued to boil the bottle.....in return causing milk to be too hot

Bought the Munchin High Speed Bottle Warmer http://www.munchkin.com/products/feeding/bottles-and-accessories/high-speed-bottle-warmer.html

The timer did not work properly, it would stop at random times but the burner would continue working..causing the milk to be too hot luckily i have enough common sense NOT to give it to my newborn but others may not and could burn the newborns mouth.

The product, in the report: Munchkin Precision Digital Bottle Warmer - White - Imprint MCKNW-0042

We received the Munchkin Precision Digital Bottle Warmer as a baby shower gift for our now 2 month old son. The Munchkin Precision Digital Bottle Warmer worked without issue for the first few weeks of use. After approximately two weeks of use the unit began to beep, buzz, and power off randomly during the course of a heating cycle. Upon powering off the unit would stay seemingly in an unpowered state for a few seconds to a few minutes before powering back on automatically without user input. The unit inconsistently would “reset” to an empty timer (0:00), a timer of 1:33, or show 0:00 and begin a heating cycle (again without user input) that would continue until the unit was unplugged. We immediately discontinued use of this product upon these observations out of fear of a fire hazard should the unit begin an unlimited/unsupervised heating cycle. Our attempts to contact Munchkin have lead to a never ending loop of not being able to speak to anyone on the phone, limited email responses, and little in the way of product support.
