I was seeing a fussy baby in the emergency room. He had started screaming after being fed. Mom tried to feed him again and he cried. I offered to make a bottle. She gave me the powdered formula and her water bottle thermos. As I poured the water, I noticed it was very hot. I looked at the temp reading and it was set to 124 degrees. Much too hot for a baby to drink. Although that might be fine for an adult to make a cup of tea, it is much too hot for an infant to drink. https://momcozy.com/products/portable-breast-milk-water-warmer-for-travel?variant=44336462921926&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Multifeeds-2.18-US&utm_content=Superfast+Portable+Breast+Milk+%26+Water+Warmer+for+Travel&tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=21703975133&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21707863639&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgp-dgLeXjgMVsE-RBR17PjsbEAQYAyABEgIEd_D_BwE This is the MomCozy Portable Breast Milk warmer. Although there is a setting for a bottle which is 98 degrees, it is very confusing for non medical folks as the water setting goes quite hot, Parents assume they should use that setting for water they are going to add to formula. This needs much clearer labelling and warnings. (I am a pediatrician)
