The product, in the report: The product is the HEYVALUE Instant Baby Bottle Warmer Water Warmer, Fast Formula Maker. Its designed to keep water at a set temperature (commonly 104F or 122F) for preparing formula bottles, particularly during nighttime feedings. It features an LED display, rotating temperature dial, and is marketed as maintaining a constant ready temperature for quick access. The model I purchased was ordered through Amazon on June 9, 2025 (Order #[REDACTED]) from [REDACTED], and delivered to my home two days later. The unit was in new condition and cost $39.99. I began using it immediately for overnight bottle prep for my infant.
I am reporting a serious safety issue with the HEYVALUE Instant Baby Bottle Warmer (purchased from Amazon on June 9, 2025). I set the device to maintain a water temperature of 104F for night feedings, but on several occasions it automatically increased to 122F without my input.
The product was being used by me, the parent, during overnight bottle preparation for my infant daughter. On one occasion around 3:00 AM, I unknowingly used water that had reached 122F to prepare a bottle, not realizing the device had changed temperatures. My newborn consumed a portion of the bottle before I realized it was dangerously hot.
While there were no visible injuries in that moment, the risk for serious internal burns was extremely high. This automatic temperature spike without user command poses a significant danger to infants and should not occur in a device designed for feeding preparation
