The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No incident, no one hurt

The product, in the report: It is a bottle propping device used to hold the bottle in place in front of the babies mouth while the infant eats. It goes around the neck but the maker says that the baby can push it away when done. Young infants especially do not have the motor skills to purposefully push it away from their face which is why bottle propping is so dangerous. It’s a huge choking hazard. She is also saying this is a “doctor approved” device. NO doctor would approve such a device.

The device that I’m reporting is a bottle propping device. Bottle propping while feeding a baby is extremely dangerous. It is a severe choking hazard. The maker is also saying that it is “doctor approved”. NO doctor would approve of bottle propping. By doing this she is trying to give extra validation to her dangerous product. It concerns me the way she is marketing this. It is so unsafe.
