The product, in the report: The Neptunes Ocean Discovery Jumper is an infant activity center designed for stationary use with babies between 6 months and 30 inches in height, weighing less than 25 pounds. According to the manufacturers safety documentation, the product includes a support seat covered in fabric, attached to a large metal frame, with various brightly colored toys surrounding the seat . The web straps are essential safety components designed to keep the child securely positioned within the seat during use. The web strap in this product has failed catastrophically, demonstrating insufficient durability and design defects that create substantial risk of injury to infants. The web strap exhibits premature deterioration and loss of structural integrity The strap connection points show signs of inadequate stress distribution Material degradation occurs despite normal, intended use patterns consistent with the manufacturers guidelines.

i want to lodge a formal complaint with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, regarding a serious safety defect in the Baby Einstein Neptunes Ocean Discovery Jumper (Model SE-55401), specifically the failure of the web strap component that poses an immediate hazard to infants and young children. This complaint seeks to formally document the structural failure of this product and to urge the CPSC to investigate whether this defect is widespread and warrants a recall notice. My son, [REDACTED] was in the jumper, the strap snapped and he fell on the hard floor and hit his head. He had a large bruise and took him to Urgent care. All pictures are in attachments
