The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Emergency room

Made Jul 19, 2025, sent to the company Jul 23, 2025, published by CPSC Aug 6, 2025

The product, in the report: On the packaging box, the walker is called DaGiBayCN Baby Walker (Baby’s first step training expert). The Product Name is Baby Walker; Model: c1. The color of the walker is white.

On April 13, 2025, my 1-year-old son was using the walker when it unexpectedly flipped backward over a doorway threshold. He struck the back of his head on the floor, which led to a probable syncopal seizure and concussion. He received emergency medical attention.

On April 13, I initiated a return, and on April 14 I filed an Amazon A-to-Z Guarantee Claim and messaged the seller requesting manufacturer contact information. On April 16, I posted a detailed Amazon review documenting the injury. The seller refunded my purchase on April 27 without requesting the walker be returned. Amazon then closed my A-to-Z claim. I still retain the walker in its original condition.

On May 27, a pediatric neurologist evaluated my son and confirmed the incident was likely a probable syncopal seizure due to trauma. On June 12, he experienced a second seizure following a minor fall, which is possibly attributed to a lowered seizure threshold from the original head injury.

The product was advertised as anti-rollover yet failed under normal indoor conditions. The warranty phone number was disconnected, the seller has not provided any explanation or safety guidance, and the product has since been removed from Amazon with no recall or warning issued.

Injuries & Medical Treatment: Seizure and concussion after the April incident Emergency Room visit Pediatric neurology follow-up on May 27 (probable syncopal seizure) Second seizure on June 12; additional follow-up scheduled for August 29, 2025

Update 7/21/2025: Upon further inspection, I have discovered that the warning label attached to the walker does not refer to hazards associated with baby walkers. Instead, it appears to contain warnings related to changing tables — which is not only misleading, but potentially a significant labeling error.

I am concerned that this walker may not meet federal labeling and safety standards under 16 CFR Part 1216. I have retained the walker and attached a photo of the mislabeled warning.
