The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Hurt, care not known

Made Aug 2, 2012, sent to the company Oct 15, 2012, published by CPSC Oct 29, 2012

The product, in the report: Jeep Renegade Walker

The consumer says the product was at her gym’s day care facility. She does not own the product. The consumer says her 10 month old son tore off the rear view mirror. He bit into it and had a piece lodged in his throat. The child coughed up the plastic piece. The consumer says a 10 month old child should not be able to tear off the rear view mirror to the product.

The consumer contacted the manufacturer yesterday 8-1-12 who did not do anything. She says they seemed very uninterested. They told her they would follow up, although she doesn’t feel like they will. They have not, as of 8/27/12, even after calling.
