Hurt, no treatment Made Feb 15, 2022, sent to the company Feb 17, 2022, published by CPSC Mar 4, 2022
The product, in the report: Balancer and walker Color Spiral Brand Delta Children Item Dimensions LxWxH 28.6 x 20 x 25.5 inches Item Weight 13.5 Pounds Maximum weight recommendation 25 Pounds This is a link to the product on [REDACTED]. [REDACTED]
My son was injured using the Delta Children First Steps Learn2Walk Balancer (Better Than a Walker), Roundabout ([REDACTED]). The legs that support the walker are supposed to lock in place. On the unit that I received they did not lock in due to the company not including the proper parts in the box. It needs a “Front” base and a “Rear” base in order to properly function. The box included two “Front” bases, but no “Rear” base. My wife not realizing this was able to assemble the walker using the provided two “Front” bases, but due to the design the back supporting legs did not lock in. When my child used the product for the first time the supporting legs gave out and he fell to the floor causing a bruise on his back as well as hitting his head. I have been in contact with the company in order to resolve this issue, but so far the resolution has only been to send back the walker with no other options given. I believe they want the walker back as to hide the fact that it did not include proper parts in the box. I have provided documentation to them showing that it has two “Front” bases, but no “Rear” base. Having done research on this product I have found multiple reviews on different distributors of this product ([REDACTED], Buy Buy Baby, etc.) with the same issue as mine where the supporting legs pop out when in use. I believe that these reviews are also due to the fact that they had two “front” bases included in their package. Like previously mentioned if someone was to not see both bases labeled as “Front” they would assume the walker is properly assembled. Due to the inability of this company to consistently include the proper parts in the box I believe a recall should be issued. A child using this product could get seriously injured or killed due to the wrong base being using in assembly. I have documentation of my incident, as well as the documentation from the company. Since other people have had the same issue I think this needs to be investigated further to avoid a worse case scenario of a child being killed using this product. Please feel free to reach me by email or phone for more information.

BUYER BEWARE. I think this product should be recalled. The seat of this walker scratched my baby’s leg really bad. There are 4 hard plastic prongs that stick out under the seat area! When you pull your baby up out of the seat the baby can and will scratch his/her thigh if they are moving their legs!

Emergency room Made Sep 9, 2018, sent to the company Sep 17, 2018, published by CPSC Oct 1, 2018
The product, in the report: Delta Children Lil’ Fun Walker, Blue 25.2 x 22.4 x 22.8 inches UPC 080213047382 Item model number 32101-456
14 month old son was walking in his Delta Children Lil’ Fun Walker, Blue when one of the borders it has caused him to flip over landing face first hitting his mouth and nose causing a nasal contusion. The walker has safety borders installed all around it to prevent child from being able to flip over while in the walker. Its a safety concern because the borders didn’t stop a fall and I believe they were the actual cause of the walker flipping; it seems like the rubber border got stuck on hard wood floor and that caused the whole walker to flip over. There really is no other explanation as the child was just walking there would be no way he could just flip the walker other then something wrong on the walker.

Hurt, no treatment Made Sep 17, 2013, sent to the company Sep 25, 2013, published by CPSC Oct 25, 2013
The product, in the report: Pink Delta Lil’ Fun Walker Deltachildrensproducts.com
I recently purchased a Delta Lil Fun Walker for my 9 month old baby. She is always in the room with me while in the walker. The first incident, I was making her bottle at the sink, when I turned around she was dangling from the walker. This happened on another occasion and I watched my daughter fall to the floor, I could not understand how she did it. Yesterday, I watched as she climbed out of the walker. On each side of the walker is a metal X shaped frame. My daughter, as can any other infant, sticks her foot in the angle of the X to hoist herself up from the seat and get out. I just feel this is very dangerous.
