The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Chicco D@nce Walker and Electronic Play Tray, Product Type: Baby Walker, Color: Orange

My son was sitting in the Chicco D@nce Walker and Electronic Play Tray (listed on the registration card as the DJ Baby Walker, manufactured 2010-12-01). He was biting the edge of the Electronic Play Tray (only natural for a baby). I heard him cry out in pain, rushed over to him, and saw that his mouth had blood in it. I cleaned the blood out of his mouth and found a cut on his lower gum. The bleeding stopped after I applied pressure to the wound for approximately 30 seconds. My son did not require medical attention; however, he very well could have if I had not removed him from the walker immediately as he continued to bite the Electronic Play Tray even after crying out in pain. The wound appears to be causing him mild discomfort several hours after the incident. The walker was purchased at Buy Buy Baby in Downers Grove, IL, on August 20, 2011.
