The product, in the report: This is a Bright Starts Playful Parade Door Dumper. Product number 11619-3-WW. We still have the booklet with the information. The product has grey straps and green and blue half circles on the seat portion of the jumper. The top part of the jumper is white and light brown vertical stripes. It is a Kids II, Inc. product sold through Bright Starts. The jumper is for installing on door frames for children to jump. I do not know where I purchased the product, but I would expect [REDACTED]. If that fact becomes important, I can try to look it up.

We hooked up a Bright Starts Playful Parade Door Jumper to a door frame and put our grandson in the jumper. As soon as his weight was in the jumper, there was a loud noise. His mother (thank God) caught him (we were on the two sides with him). When I examined the jumper, the strap on the jumper had severed and was was frayed. We have used this jumper approximately 5 times total after we purchased it for our other grandson in 2020. I would say the amount of jumping time in this jumper, in total, was probably 30 minutes. It is not something we used significantly. Our grandson was well within the weight, height and age limits for the jumper.

If his mother and I had not been on both sides, he would have hit his head HARD on the floor because of the strap severing. This is not safe.

It was installed on a door frame with trim and the straps were all secured prior to our grandson being put in the jumper. The jumper snapped and fell, with the large plastic and metal part of the jumper glancing off our grandson, but not falling straight on his head, thankfully. I am also grateful that he was not jumping yet, because the force of the jumping would have made the heavy spring and parts come down harder on him.

I had stored the jumper in a plastic bin whenever it was not in use. As you can see from the pictures, it is in like new condition.

The product, in the report: BrightStars Ford Mustang 3 Ways to Play Walker Model 11632 UPC 074451116320

We purcahsed “3 Ways to Plat-Walker Red Ford Mustang” by Brightstars today from Target and within 45 minutes of my 7 month old son being in it, he ripped out his bottom tooth because his mouth got stuck on the steering wheel. Due to the amount of blood, we ended up having to call an ambulance. This product is intended for 6mo olds and up and my son was able to get his tiny mouth stuck on the steering wheel of this product and caused physical harm and mental trauma. I am hoping you can help. I can provide the physical product and show you where his tooth got stuck.

The product, in the report: Bright Starts Disney Baby Finding Nemo Sea of Activities Jumper

My 7 month old, who is 17 pounds, was lightly jumping in the Bright Starts Nemo adventure bouncer when one of the straps broke. I was just a few feet away thankfully. She tipped forward and the whole thing toppled over. She got a large bump on her head. Now I am a teacher, and while going to college worked in an infant room at a licensed daycare for 6 years. I have worked with kids in licensed facilities and school for over 15 years. I know safe use of toys, toy safety, and these were followed! I reported this to Bright Starts and got a very disheartening response, in which I am reaching out to an attorney on Monday. I have photos of the bouncer and my daughter head and also screenshots of the email response.

The product, in the report: Bright Starts Bounce n Spring Deluxe Door Jumper

My 8 month old Granddaughter got her arm and head stuck in a [REDACTED] jumper.

The baby was sitting in the jumper bouncing up and down. She bounces gently still and was in the jumper for about 5 minutes. The jumper is attached to the doorjamb between the kitchen and livingroom. Mom realized that her baby wasn’t making any noises. The baby had been “talking” to their dog. That’s when her mom saw that the baby’s left arm and her head were stuck in the straps of the jumper - in the triangle of straps. Her face was bright red. She wasn’t moving or vocalizing but her eyes were open. Mom and 9 year old ran to her and took her out quickly. Then the baby started to cry. My daughter has since taken down the jumper and neither the baby nor anyone else, will be using it. I have contacted the manufacturer who took my report. I have shipped it back to them.

The baby weighed 20 pounds at the time and was 8 months old, well within the range for use of this product.

The product, in the report: Bright stars Minnie Mouse walker

My 8 month old, 17 pound daughter was in the Bright Stars Minnie Mouse walker. She was on hard floor, no bumps or stairs around her. I was in the same room on the couch reading to my 3 year old. My 8 month old was reaching to the end Igor side of the walker and the entire thing tipped over. This wasn’t a drastic reach either! Not sure how or why it tipped so easily!! Thankfully there didn’t seem to be any serious injuries. She was just shaken up.

The product, in the report: Bright Starts Pattern Pal money seat walker, green tray with blue base

My seventh month old son was trying to walk with this walker. He managed to scoot over to the couch. When the front and of the Walker hit the base of the couch, the baby was swung forward and the legs that were holding the walker to the wheels detached leaning him forward with his head on the couch. All his bodyweight plus the weight of the Walker was on his neck! Had this been a glass table or coffee table or the middle of the floor, My son would’ve face planted and got seriously hurt. This time we were lucky. I can’t understand how this DESIGN FLAW could’ve happened. But looking at the design of these legs, if there’s any kind of bounce or jumping, even just a little bit, those legs are going to pop out every single time. In my opinion this toy is a danger and it is a lemon. It should be recalled ASAP.
