The product, in the report: Summer Infant Rustic Home Safety Gate I do not the boxes with the serial numbers.
I purchased 3 baby gates for my one year child. Once the gates were installed, I found that the gates have a “ledge” which is approximately 12 inches from the bottom of the gates where my child can “step” up on the gate and try to push herself over the gate. I contacted Summer Infant, the manufacturer, regarding this matter and I was told my comment alerting other parents of the ledge and the safety issue, that I placed on their site was “moderated” and removed from their site. They did not address the safety issue. The gate is the Summer Infant Rustic Home Safety Gate Since then, Buy Buy Baby, where the gates were purchased, reached out and will replace the gates with another model. While that resolves the safety issue for my child, that does not address the safety issue for other children.
