The product, in the report: plastic baby gate with mounting hardware for installation at top of stairs or other locations - North States Supergate Classic

The baby gate was installed at the top of the stairs with the mounting hardware and had been in use there for a couple of months. One day I went to move the gate aside and it came off in my hand. It was no longer attached to the wall. I looked to see why this had happened, and saw that the plastic was broken around one of the hinges. I can’t remember which hinge and have now returned the gate.
