I purchased this play yard for our 8 month old twins to keep them corralled and entertained while I tended to menial chores. While preparing bottles I was disrupted with a blood curdling scream. I found one of the twins legs caught in the gap on the bottom of the door section. I then realized the gaps between the panels were also wide enough to trap arms and legs. This is certainly a safety issue and dislocated arms and legs are very likely. I dismantled the pen and as I was re-packing it back into the original box, I found a piece of paper with instructions. #5 states verbatim, “DO NOT LET BABY’S HANDS AND FEET GET INTO THE GAP OF THE FENCE, WHICH WILL MAKE BABY HURTS”. #1 states, “KEEP EYES ON THE BABY WHEN THEY ARE PLAYING IN THE FENCE ALONG. DO NOT LET BABY OUT OF ADULT’S SIGHT”. Nope, I didn’t mistype the phrases. Product is made in China. This item should be banned from use for babies and classified as a serious safety hazard. It is now boxed up and waiting for UPS to pick up. I’m disappointed Amazon would actually allow such a product to be sold on their site without any type of safety certification. This is just another example of unsafe baby products being sold from China.
