The product, in the report: https://fairybaby.com/products/baby-gate-with-cat-door-pet-gate
I have previously reported baby gates that have openings for pets to pass through but do not seemed to be designed to prevent young crwaling babies head and neck getting entrapped by the pet door. Young crawlers do not have the understanding to lift their heads when attempting to back out of a pet opening that is not flush with the floor. Previous report is here: [REDACTED] New produsts are here: https://fairybaby.com/blogs/babysafe/choose-baby-gates-with-cat-doors#:~:text=Cat%20Door%20Size%3A%26%20Adjustability%3A,with%20an%20adjustable%20cat%20door. https://fairybaby.com/products/baby-gate-with-cat-door-pet-gate
The class of gates with pet openings need special rules for testing safety for a young crawler to prevent strangulation hazard of the lowest part of the pet opening. I do not know of any baby strangled this way, but I know of no capabilities within some younger babies that would prevent strangulation if they were able to get his or her head through.
