The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Carter’s Casual White changing table (combo table). Purchased summer 2009 at Babies R Us. It was the middle drawer that came out. There are three drawers total on this piece - the top narrow drawer, and two deep drawers. It was the top ‘deep’ drawer that came out.

This afternoon my 3 year old daughter opened a drawer on the Carter’s Casual White changing table (from 2009). The drawer completely came out and off of it’s runners and fell onto my daughter, who is 3. If this had happened to my 1 year old he could have really been hurt. My daughter opened the drawer as usual - not forcefully. The changing table was part of a set from Carter’s purchased at Babies R Us in 2009. I believe it was called ‘Casual White’.
