The product, in the report: Craftsman WeedWacker Gas Trimmer 25cc 2-Cycle Curved Shaft Sears Item# 07171102000 | Model# 71102 http://www.sears.com/craftsman-weedwacker-8482-gas-trimmer-25cc-2-cycle-curved/p-07171102000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1

I purchased a Craftsman WeedWacker Gas Trimmer (Item #07171102000) on October 2, 2012 on sale. It was put into storage and not used for the first time until the following Spring, May 2013. Since then I’ve used it only three times. Each time in attempting to trim light, dry grass in my yard, the trimmer line would fray and deteriorate so that it would have to be replaced at least once during each use. Also, the trimmer head and shaft would get so hot as to scald my skin if they were touched. I had to wait for it to cool down before replacing the trimmer line. The trimmer end cap would continually come loose and fall off while trimming, also. And while cutting, the engine would repeatedly stall if I released the throttle lever to an idle position. It would run extremely roughly while cutting. The gas used was freshly purchased and mixed properly with recommended oil.
