The product, in the report: Water pump controller
On July 17, 2026, an explosive pop inside our home was loud enough to trigger our home security system’s shock sensors. Our 19-year-old child was home alone when the explosion happened and the house alarm went off and when the police arrived, no one could find the source of the explosion and thought it must have been a firework.
This morning, upon inspecting our basement, we discovered that the variable frequency controller (Speedman Compact) on our water pump system had violently blown apart from the inside. The explosion shattered the plastic control housing, blowing off the cover and leaving heavy burn and char marks across the internal circuit board.
