The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: “BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Tire Inflator, Cordless & Corded Power, Tool Only (BDINF20C) Model BDINF20C Digital gauge to view current pressure and set target pressure Automatic shutoff stops the unit once the desired pressure is reached. High-pressure and high-volume outputs. Included Components: (1) BDINF20 Inflator, (1) Ball Needle, 1) Presta Valve Adapter, (1) Small Inflatable Adapter, (1) Large Volume Hose”

Today I received the BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Tire Inflator, Cordless & Corded Power, Tool Only (BDINF20C) I ordered on Amazon. I inflated my front tire. When I lifted the lever at the air hose where it attaches to the tire air fill it first was stuck, then it came off hard and quickly from the air in my tire pushing it off. Blood gushed down my thumb. One of the sharp edges of the metal lacerated the top of my thumb. I didn’t stop bleeding after twenty minutes so had to go to urgent care.
