No one hurt Made May 26, 2011, published by CPSC Jun 20, 2011
The product, in the report: Defender Mosquito Magnet
When preparing my Defender mosquito magnet for storage, I attempted to use the quick-clear valve with a CO2 cylinder. It malfunctioned, releasing CO2 as I tried to assemble it. I tried a second time, thinking the cylinder was defective. The result was the same, so I put the mosquito magnet away for the winter without clearing the fuel line. When I went to the website to purchase a new quick-clear valve this spring, I discovered the recall. I was not injured, only startled by the sudden release of the CO2.
