The product, in the report: a bug zapper that is electrical...it’s light grey, about 15 x 11
aspectek bug zapper 20 watt--I had to change out the bulbs. It had been unplugged for over 4 hours. I grabbed the bulb with both hands and received a severe severe electrical shock. I read on amazon that several one star reviewers had also been shocked and one said something with the capacitor not being able to be discharged correctly. I previously was shocked just cleaning it, but I only had it unplugged about ten minutes. I thought four hours was long enough, especially since the warning was to unplug it for one minute. The new versions may have added the correct thing so that it will dissipate correctly. This sure doesn’t. I understand that this is a zapper, but they need to have a safety shut off for when it is unplugged. I see Aspectek web site is no longer functional; hard to say what’s going on with them. It was a terrific bug zapper, but needs redesign.
