The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: 14 foot Fiskars Power Lever Pruner. Single telescoping pruner with saw and pruning shear. Orange handle.
I was using my 14 foot Fiskars telescoping tree pruner. While sawing, the orange “handle” covering the shaft detached from the telescoping clamp and came off of the pruner. I searched for information and found a recall notice for Fiskars [REDACTED] pruners that suffered the same exact problem. Fiskars makes it clear that their recall ONLY APPLIES to [REDACTED] pruners.

First aid Made Sep 26, 2016, sent to the company Oct 4, 2016, published by CPSC Oct 19, 2016
The product, in the report: It is a 1 1/2 inch, 3.8 cm lopper by fiskars. The model number is 9143. It was manufactured in 2013.
On September 25, 2016 I was using the Fiskars lopping shears to cut my mother’s tree. We believe it is model number 9143. It snapped when I was cutting a branch and the metal shears flew back into my chin, causing swelling and intense bruising. We attempted to contact Fiskars directly, but only received an email saying they were processing our warranty, which is clearly not our primary concern.
