The product, in the report: WYZworks 50 foot warm white 3/8” diameter led rope lights
In 2017 I purchased rope lights from WYZworks through Amazon. They were mounted outdoors, though in a fairly protected location. At some point last fall, a short occurred that burned through the outer plastic covering and started charring the paint on the wall it was mounted to. Last month (sorry about the delay) I reported the problem to both Amazon and WYZ works, but have not had a response.
