The product, in the report: Hampton Bay path light set (HD33677BK)
I purchased the Hampton Bay path light set (HD33677BK) a little over a year ago. Within several months one of the lights stopped working. I purchased a replacement light, but that same position in the chain is still intermittent. I emailed Hampton Bay about this product quality concern, but never got a reply.
Now I’ve run across another very big issue. When unplugging the units from the AC output the Hampton plug output “prongs” come out and stick into the outlet (I have pictures if needed). This presents an obvious electrical safety hazard. I was almost shocked when trying to remove the prong.

The product, in the report: Hampton Bay Solar Black outdoor integrated LED landscape spot light kit with remote solar panel with 3 lights Model # 84203 Internet # 207056150
Spotlights are being used outside to illuminate a special feature Lights are solar powered Hampton bay #84203 purchased from Home Depot in August 2018. About two weeks ago the bulbs started losing their brightness. According to manufacturers information the batteries should be replaced. Last week (June 1, 2018) replacement batteries were purchased. After 2 days in the solar charging panel, the new batteries exploded. A different battery manufacturer was tried and the new batteries experienced the same explosion. The solar panels appear defective and are allowing the batteries to overcharge and explode, this is unsafe and could have resulted in a fire or injury.
