Made Dec 23, 2013, sent to the company Jan 13, 2014, published by CPSC Feb 5, 2014

The product, in the report: Great Value, BR30 Floodlights, Track & Recessed for indoor and outdoor use, sold by Walmart, package says Made in China, distributed by Walmart, item No. 65BR/FL/4GV

Today I purchased at a locat Walmart Store (2701 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM) a package of 4 Great Value, BR30 Floodlights, Track & Recessed for indoor and outdoor use, 65 watts, package says “Made in China” item No. 65BR30/FU4/GV. I installed two of the four bulbs and within perhaps 15 or 20 minutes one of the blubs, with a loud noise “shattered” or exploded, glass all over the floor. The bulb. was in a ceiling recessed fixure. Clearly a safety, harzardous floodlight. No injury as no one was near the bulb; I was a few feet away watching the TV and heard the loud “noise” and then saw the shattered glass.
