Govee lights are decorative outdoor lights. The control box overheated and began to burn in our garage. The box has a large burn hole right behind the 3M sticker where you’re supposed to mount it to a wall. Had the control box been mounted to the wall, the garage would’ve caught fire. There are many reports of this occurring on reddit and other social media sites, but Govee continues to sell a defective product.
