  1. No one hurt

Made May 18, 2014, sent to the company May 28, 2014, published by CPSC Jun 11, 2014

The product, in the report: lawnmower

My yardman exploded while my son was trying to cut the grass. the Yardman lawnmower had a Tecumseh engine with model number LEV 120-362001a. A chunk of metal broke off from connecting bracket holding blade to shaft under the lawnmower, I figured it was destroyed. I took the lawnmower apart and noticed the connecting rod to the gas piston had broken in several pieces. And I also noticed the engine chassis had major cracks thru the metal wall. Overall, the metal is inferior for this product and I want to file a complaint to get a replacement lawnmower. The Yardman model is 11A-435D452/1699473 and serial number is 1D243K20430.
