The product, in the report: Toro walk behind lawn mower “Recycler” powered by Kohler Engine color red and black 22 inch
22 inch Toro Recycler, with kohler engine. Large fuel leak at the fuel tank cap. This occurs anytime the mower is tilted, i.e. when mowing up hill or when changing direction. Because this happens while the engine is running, this creates a potentially hazardous situation, especially in dry conditions. This topic is already reported by another consumer on the saferproducts.gov website, however, a simple internet search will show that these are not the only two reports of such cases involving this same mower and engine.
Why has Toro not initiated a recall campaign for such a hazardous condition, that clearly affects a number of units produced?
