No one hurt Made Sep 2, 2026, sent to the company Sep 4, 2026, published by CPSC Sep 21, 2026
The product, in the report: POWER+ Mower 21” Select Cut System with Touch Drive Self-Propelled Kit (7.5Ah Battery) Model no.: LM2135SP Product Serial: NLM14250379884X Charger Serial: NCH02250379884x Battery Serial: NBA10250379884x
On multiple occasions, my husband been using my lawn mower with the self-propel fuunction turn off and it will suddenly engage self-propel mode. There are other times the mower just shuts off, even when the battery has 50% or more charge remaining. These are random issues and cannot be intentionally replicated.
My husband was using the mower as it is intended, mowing our lawn. He has not been injured yet, but it is only a matter of time. We have tried to contact the manufacturer, but they are requiring us to provide them with a video of the issues before they will honor the warranty.
The product is stored inside our garage with the battery on the charger.

First aid Made Jun 28, 2026, sent to the company Jul 1, 2026, published by CPSC Jul 16, 2026
The product, in the report: EGO POWER+ 56V cordless battery-powered lawn mower, green and black in color, manufactured by Chervon North America. The mower features a plastic deck/housing. Serial number NLM21234216213X. Manufactured October 2023. Purchased at Lowe’s on May 8, 2024.
During ordinary residential lawn mowing, the rear lower housing/deck area of an EGO POWER+ 56V lawn mower (serial number NLM21234216213X) experienced a structural breach/failure following an impact event. Debris penetrated the failed housing and struck the operator’s left shin with significant force. The operator immediately ceased mowing and observed the structural breach in the housing. Injuries to the shin included broken skin, a pronounced raised contusion, purple discoloration consistent with bruising, and surface bleeding. The operator was unable to bear full weight on the affected leg without significant pain and limped for several days. The incident was captured on residential surveillance camera. Injury photographs, mower structural failure photographs, and the mower itself have been preserved in their post-incident condition.
