The product, in the report: 21” ATLAS 80 Volt lawnmower.
On 6/11/22 I purchased a 21” ATLAS 80 volt lawnmover from Harbor Freight in Muskegon, Michigan. I was very impressed with the mower and posted related comments. However, in the FALL I folded up the mower handle for storage. This Spring, I placed the handle back in place and installed the charged batteries. The mower lurched forward at full throttle and ran up my shin bone, scraping it badly. Thank goodness, the mower blades are activated by a separate process and did not do more damage. I finally determined that the folding up for storage process pulled the BAIL CONTROL BAR up and into a locked on position. When the handle was put back in place the bar remained locked on. Contacted Harbor Freight on 6/12, 6/14 and 7/13/2023 without response on steps taken to correct defect.
