  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Nov 26, 2011, sent to the company Dec 5, 2011, published by CPSC Dec 19, 2011

The product, in the report: Ridgid® 16-Gallon, Model WD16650 2-In-1 Blower Vac

I was using my Ridgid 2 in one shop vac and the blower wheel detatched from the housing made a loud noise sparked, and chards of metal flew out through the exhaust and it felt like pin needles, super small splinter sice metal peices stuck in my hand, I did get them out ok but ouch. This also scared the heck out of me. I went on the Web to see what it could be and found the below recall on this exact unit however with a lower seriel number. I have Seriel number 08042 R 2594. Model WD16650 I feel this should be expanded to include the machines with my seriel number range as its the same issue.

The recalled units have the model number and a serial number from 04104C through 04114C
