The product, in the report: Hedge Clipper
The consumer indicates that he was using his hedge clipper for approximately one minute when he noticed that his hip was wet from the unit leaking gas. Upon inspection, the consumer noticed the fuel tank split at the seam causing the leak. The consumer stopped using the unit.
05/10/2017 - The consumer contacted the Manufacturer and explained the situation. The representative he spoke to informed him that the issue may be due to normal wear and tear, or somebody could have damaged it.
The consumer indicates he uses his unit four or five times per year so it is like new and should not have been leaking.
The consumer plans on keeping his hedge clipper for at least the next thirty days.
