The product, in the report: This is a medium sized Kubota farm tractor with an optional front loader and backhoe. The machine had 592 hours on it at the time of the incident. It has been stored in a heated garage, shows no signs of rust or corrosion and has been well maintained.
The turntable that holds the operators seat on my Kubota B2650 tractor failed due to poor manufacturing and quality control issues. Since this plate holds both the seat AND THE SEATBELT on, it caused me to fall off the back of the tractor with the seat still strapped on.

The product, in the report: Kubota Komannder Series Zero Turn Commercial Mower
While using a Kubota Z125S-54 25 HP commercial riding mower, the mower burst into flames around the gas tank and engine for no apparent reason. At the time of the fire, the mower was traveling on level, flat ground, mowing grass less that 6 inches in height. The mower was completely destroyed by the fire. No one hurt Made Mar 2, 2012, sent to the company May 21, 2012, published by CPSC Jun 5, 2012
The product, in the report: Lawn Mower - Zero Turn
The consumer stated that the Lawn mower seat safety switch is malfunctioning which cause the unit to operate unsafely, it will quit working or kill the motor while still operating, thus he is not able to control it. The first time the dealer told me to move the seat forward, that women had trouble with the seat. The consumer stated that when the mower was examined a year later the issue was not addressed to his satisfaction.
In the fall of 2010 or Spring of 2011, the consumer took it a service dealer who advised that he install a seat belt and a ROPS Bar, which would not resolve the problem of the faulty safety switch. The consumer has not contacted the manufacturer since.
The consumer is concerned that this lawn mower is a safety hazard and could cause an accident resulting in serious injuries or fatality and that he cannot legally bypass the safety kill switch.
