No one hurt Made May 13, 2025, sent to the company May 16, 2025, published by CPSC Jun 2, 2025
The product, in the report: Kawasaki fs651v-es05 engine in John Deere 380x. I believe I purchased it in 2018.
X380 John Deere with a fs651-ES05 engine in it. Yes it had oil and yes the oil was recently changed. It overheated and caused a small fire and blew out the gasket and messed broke the cam before I could hose it down. (We live on a farm and I went in the house for about ten minutes and left the motor idling outside.) I’m lucky the damn thing didn’t burn my house down.
