The product, in the report: EGO-Power+ self-propel lawn mower, model# LM2102SP
Regarding our LM2102SP, there is a potentially dangerous concern with the self-propel feature. If you pull the mower backwards, the rear wheels can lock up, then suddenly release, causing the mower to lurch backwards. If a person were to have this happen with the blade turning, it is possible for the mower to: 1) cause the operator to stumble, 2) the mower to be pulled over a body part and 3) cause personal injury. In my mind, the fix is to correct the situation that can cause the self-propel system to engage without any throttle being applied such that the wheels will always turn freely in either direction, unless the operator is using the self-propel feature.
