Hurt, no treatment Made Feb 18, 2012, sent to the company Feb 28, 2012, published by CPSC Mar 20, 2012
The product, in the report: Defective, lemon, rear bagger coming off all the time, send slips to advise me that the mower is defective, returned same to them as I want nothing to do with this mower. It is danagerous as each time the bagger comes off, it stops the mower from prodecing and gets caught up in the rear wheels. This needs to be returned immeditely before another incidcent occurres.
Purchased a Sear Craftsman Riding Lawn Mower and from the first day the rear bagger kept coming off. My son who is an engineer claimed it was a lemon as he looked at it and said it was unsafe due to the clips that were holding up a heavy rear bagger. My son-in-law fell off of it when the rar bagger got loose and myelf, it was unstable and again, the rear bagger kept coming off. We only used it four time and it has only 7 miles on it. We purchased this item in March, 2011 and we have been arguing with Sears to get a refund for this lemon and unsafe product. They sent their technican and he did not even know anything about rear baggers. It is a joke with this folks come out. I have been a homeowner for over 40 years and had a [REDACTED] and never had a problem. Decided to try this one, and it was a lemon from day one and a failure. They did send me clips and after our son reviewed them, he would not place them on the rear bagger due to it being now a defectie riding lawn mower. We sent them back to them. They will never admit to the faults of this mower. All I want is my money back and as a business they should honor their policies of satifaction to the customer. They have an outlet store and I at first purchased a used one and ralized after completing my research, that it was defective and the rear bagger was torn. I requested my money back and they did not honro. they have many items at their Outlet stores from customers who have returned items. So Sears needs to stop lying about good customer service and return my mones now. I will never use this mower because it is dangerous to me and my son-in-law. that is why Sears is failing because they have never provided great customer satisfaction and given out excellent products to their customers. Kindly contact them and see what kind of story they will give out as they usually have their specialist who are not llicensed engineers or have no backgrou9nd in the design and engineering factors of the mower.
