The product, in the report: Rainbird ESP-M 8-zone Sprinkler Controller Model ESP-M
We have a RainBird ESP-M sprinkler controller that exploded and caught fire on our garage wall. The door and front panel were found over 20 feet away from the unit attached to the wall. The fire extinguished itself, and did not cause additional damage to the garage structure. RainBird informed us that this is an older unit, and would no longer be covered under warranty.
