The product, in the report: Flexon 50-foot three tubesprinkler hose FS50
The New Flexon hose when used (October 17 & 18 2018) at 7 am & again at 7pm for 70 minutes, attached to water supply (drinking water supply for our condo) on a recently seeded lawn (seeded on Sept 15 2018, killed the new grass in the same location as the water was sprinkled. Please note using this hose to water the lawn for 2 days, the lawn showed definite signs of some sort of burning. We suspect the hose because that was the only physical method that distributed the burned pattern on the new grass. We have complained to Amazon and they have sent us a new hose which we have not used. Inspecting this hose by smell one can detect a very high degree of some sort of chemical residue emitting from the hose. We have discontinued using the Flexon hose. Note that we live adjacent to the [REDACTED] river in [REDACTED] and using this hose we now have inadvertently polluted the ground next to the river. We feel Flexon if it is found that the Flexon hose was the cause of the contamination, that they should be held responsible to clean up and repair the damage.
