The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: 100ft flexilla water hose, yellowish-green in color

White slimy goo coming from the inside of a flexilla water hose. It smells like raw sewage. When I fill the dogs’ 5 gallon water bucket with water, the goo is floating in the water. When I fill the bucket straight from the faucet, there is no goo in the water. I have a degree in biology so I know it’s bacterial and possibly fungal as well. I’ve never had this happen before with other water hoses. This water hose was purchased early this summer from Amazon. I noticed it before but thought nothing of it because I didn’t notice the smell. We have hard water and I thought it might be hard water deposits.
