The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Crystal soil is placed in water for 4 hours and absorbs the water. It uses this water over the next 1-2 months to water your plant. Crystal soil also nourishes your plants with the nutrients it has in it.

Adults have used this product as a soil substitute. The ball-like object is smaller than a pea. When submerged in water, it swells up to the size of a grape. It allows plants to grow without watering often. The balls come in different colors, making them very attractive. However children have been placing these balls in water bottles and drinking from the same bottle. It has come to my attention that this is a choking hazard and a health hazard if consumed.
